The boots always left him taller than the guitarist in his more sensible shoes. He let go of the hug to grab Hans' cheeks and give him a kiss on the lips, more like a wild little kid than anything meaningful.

"I didn't tell Rik you were coming." He whispers because the surprise was needed. Rik and Hans had been so close, nearly like the Dane's dad sometimes and this would be good. Rik deserved more good surprises in his life.
